Thinking about the worst is not so bad.

When you manifest the worst case scenario in your mind you’re actually taming it to bring it to desired consequence. Many people don’t undertake the second step. They just keep thinking about the worst repetitively; not going to step two where one can discover the true strength in oneself. That step two makes the difference between sane and insane.

So lets say you’re planning to give a speech and your worst fear hits you: going blank. You are done with the first step. No need to repeat it. Initiate step two. Tell yourself that I am going to hammer the speech into a masterpiece through my honesty, conviction and authenticity. Embracing your fear doesn’t mean you keep your fear as it is; but learn from it or let it train/test you: and let it go when it is no longer needed.
